Question by LinkTheWorld: Can you put different types of aggressive fish together in the same tank?
My ( yellow )African Chillads are getting bigger and are starting to eat the guppies tails. I am going to get another tank and make that my aggressive fish tank, I just dont know if I can mix them with like lets say the blue African Chillads which I heard are supposed to be more aggressive or oscars or the fish that looks like a blowfish. Any help out there???

Best answer:

Answer by vanityislate
If you put different types of agressive fish together, you will be minus two fish and possibly one that is really torn up. Even mildly agressive Beta fish are like that, they attack their own reflections.
what you can do is when you buy your new fish tank, buy tank dividers so that way you’ll have all of your fish still and the smaller ones will have their tails.

Question by Carlie W: Why it is important to be assertive in the workplace?
Why it is important to be assertive, what this means and situations and situations when you should be assertive
Thank you this is really help ful!

Best answer:

Answer by mariebear
Being asserive means standing up to people and standing up for yourself. If you are not assertive, other people will dump their work off on you because they are lazy or stupid or both. People will try to manipulate you into doing what they should be doing if you dont stand your ground. Assertive–being ballsy and not taking crap off of people. Stand up for yourself and your ideas-dont let people take advantage of you.

Question by Jesus J: What are some aggressive fresh water fish that hunt in groups?
I’m planning on buying an aquarium and I was hoping someone out there would give me a list of aggressive fresh water fish that hunt in groups like piranhas, cichlids and bucktooth tetras. Is there a small fresh water fish out there that doesn’t grow as big as a piranha but possesses teeth big enough to tear apart another fish and hunts in big groups? I would really appreciate it! And please, don’t give me the names of the fish I just listed on top! Thank you!

Answer by reignofcheese
Cichlids don’t hunt in groups – most fish don’t, piranhas and tetras are about it, and catfish in a way but nothing like what you’re thinking.

Question by Psyched: Assertiveness: What are some “hands-on” (not books) ways to learn to remain assertive when others are not?
I find I can be assertive with other people who are assertive (healthy conversation). However when someone is agressive I either turn passive or raise (lower) myself to his/her level rather than staying calm in the moment. What are some ways (remember not books) to stay in an assertive zone when feeling uncomfortable?

Yeah, I have a problem, too, with this. It’s either Pollyanna or Lizzy Borden with my nature. Seldom anything in between. But, in the last decade of trying for the stability of assertiveness, I have made progress. My secret has been to stabilize myself first and THEN work on stabilizing how I respond to other people. It works. Try Zen meditation and gobs of solitude. Assertiveness training workshops are usually pretty helpful. But, as a nurse, I keep running across a few here and there that aren’t quite right. The group leader has her own agenda and problems that manifest in unhealthy ways, including suggestions for aggressiveness. Just be aware of that possibility and walk out if it occurs.
